I said this in an AA women’s group on facebook and an AA old timer said that the big book is the opposite of self care. That I had a problem with the big book. I get it. It is about getting outside of yourself by being of service to others. Not yourself. But in those early days that are so hard to get through, you get to focus on yourself. But how? Focus on a daily gratitude practice and shifting your thinking from negative to positive. Depression to happiness. Anxiety to relaxation. Comment SOB
