We also brought home this beautiful Mammoth Jenny from last night’s auction. 💛 Something didn’t quite seem right, she was lifting her leg and acting uncomfortable, so I sent her straight on to Jenn so Dr. L can take a look. She’s bright, alert, and very eager to eat, which is always a good sign, but we want to make sure we figure out exactly what’s going on and get her whatever care she needs. Thank you for helping us be able to say ‘yes’ when animals like her need a safe place to land. | Rocki

We had a second testing done on the alfalfa bales we purchased 💚 You know, for quality purposes. 😉 Carrie approved… but also wondered where it all went!? 🤣 We still have about $3,000 left to cover the round bales that are already on the way. Winter is officially here and we have to get this hay secured before we can safely open intake again. And y’all… there is a Thoroughbred we really want to help. 💔 But we can’t say yes until this is covered. 💚 Every donation made this month is MATCHED fo

After I picked up the TB, his seller messaged asked was I coming back. I said no. I had a trainwreck coming in … had already pulled 3 others. Sitting this one out!! ‼️😂 I told him if there was something that was critical…lmk. Then I got this video shortly after. There’s a pic of it unwrapped in the comments. He is $600. No negativity till we get him covered and picked up . Let us get him in. Jenn has already asked me to bring him to her 🥺 | Rocking R Ranch and Rescue, Inc.

Due to the extreme backlash and hatred spewed over baby Rocky, this will be our last post on the rescue page regarding him. We have received two donations for Rocky; one for 125 and one for 100. These were unsolicited but will go towards the first vet visit which was 404.00. We also bought more milk replacer for 74.75 and two igloo 2 gallon coolers to make a foal nurser for him which were 45 and 48 dollars each. I think Cam got him a new pail too, I’ll look up the price of that as well if anyone

Remember I said I was almost positive Holly was part of the herd dispersal sale we attended in the summer? Here she is then with an older baby on her side…only to return months later with a newborn. | Rocking R Ranch and Rescue, Inc.

We were sent this video of this little donkey at auction last night and immediately agreed to help him. He’s at a very high risk for hyperlipemia which can be fatal. This comes about when an animal has been fed at the rate or most likely what they have been fed, and then that stops, so their body feels they are starving and starts to spill fat into the bloodstream which can then shutdown the liver. We have given specific feeding instructions to the person who bid for us and will haul back to MS

[READ HERE] “Rocking R Ranch and Rescue” @RockingRrescue based out of Mississippi had a 3 legged horse born a little over a year ago on site, and instead of being a normal ethical rescue and euthanizing him on the spot, they kept him and are still keeping him alive in immense pain for the millions they make a year off him. They use a human chiropractor with no horse experience and an uneducated vet to say it’s okay, over countless reputable ones and professionals with much more experience and qu
