Nasolabial folds are one of the first filler areas we learn as beginners, but the truth is that the impact of a complication in the piriform fossa is worst than most areas. That's because we inject a deep bolus on the periosteum, and the higher volume of filler can result in a more severe occlusion of the infraorbital artery.
